New EroGear Video
Here’s a little video Anders and I put together. It mostly shows how text looks on the prototype jackets…

Due to the overwhelming response we’re getting we’ve posted an FAQ to the main site. You can check it all out here–
You can find out a TON of information through this about the EroGear system including pricing, available colors, how to order, etc. If you have a question that’s not answered in the FAQ, feel free to directly email us at info [at] erogear.com
Enjoy!
Anders and I took EroGear to it’s first outing this Saturday at 105.3’s “BFD 08″ at the Shoreline in Mountain View (right next to Google’s office none-the-less).
We decided to hold out until Moby’s set in the Sub-Sonic Music Tent (which was the last set of the night). Let me tell you, as soon as we powered up the jackets, people were instantly commenting on how cool they were and asking how they could get one. Both of the patterns I generated for the show were well received, but I think the “Hearts” pattern on Anders jacket was the coolest of the two. The blue LEDs on my jacket seemed to get more attention because they looked a bit brighter than the white LEDs on Anders. The batteries lasted well past Moby’s set and I eventually turned mine off once we got back to the car (people were hitting us up for business cards in the parking lot)!
We’ve been working very hard for today. Anders has been hard at work on the latest version of EroGear and we have a lot of really cool plans for the future of our wearable LED displays (software and hardware related).
Today we’re off to a music festival in Mountain View (BDF via live105.com) to do a little promotion and generate some buzz around EroGear. Moby here we come!
So stay tuned for updates on our project. If you have any questions, ideas, or suggestions please email us (ellenich [at] erogear.com or anders.k.nelson [at] erogear.com). While you’re waiting for more, check out this little gallery featuring a previous version of EroGear.
